Here at Rendezvous, we go the extra mile to make sure your vacation is as perfect as possible! Not only will you be staying at a great Palm Springs, CA Bed and Breakfast, but we will send you to the tastiest restaurants, best shows, and coolest activities Palm Springs has to offer.
Our Sample Itinerary for an Unforgettable 10-day Palm Springs Getaway is listed below:

You are on vacation, so after breakfast have a soothing couples massage in our massage studio. When you are nice and limber, clamber into a chaise lounge and enjoy a few hours relaxing poolside and getting a nice golden brown tan to show off to your friends when you get home. Have lunch brought in from one of the many restaurants in the area. If you get too hot, jump in the pool and if you get too cool, take a dip in our hot tub. When you’ve had your fill of relaxation for the day, join us for our blue raspberry martinis and some tasty appetizers before popping downtown for a nice dinner at The Falls, a fabulous steak restaurant. After filling up, run across the street and catch the world famous Follies; although the cast is all 50 and up, they sure can shake it. End the day with a leisurely walk around Palm Springs and stop by one of the many ice cream shops for a late night treat.
After the day of rest you are ready for some more excitement, so today head up the Palm Springs Aerial Tram. Before you go, grab a bite to eat to go from John’s, a great little diner type restaurant just down the street. Enjoy the ride up from approximately 2,000 feet to the top, which is over 8,500 feet. The views from the top are truly breathtaking. While up there take a little hike around the area and see if you can spot any wildlife. During the winter there is snow so you may want to wear a jacket. Once you are back at Rendezvous, grab a couple of our complimentary cruiser bikes and head to downtown for a little shopping. We have a number of great mid-century modern stores nearby. Ask us for a map and recommendations on where to find the best deals. For dinner, enjoy a casual dinner at Las Casuelas, a nice Mexican restaurant in downtown and hang around for some great music in their bar area!
By now you have heard that the Coachella Valley has over 200 golf courses and it’s time to see if you are up for the challenge. Grab a quick breakfast at our Palm Springs Luxury Hotel, have Jake mix you an extra potent smoothie, and head to Tahquitz Creek Golf Club. This is a great golf course and one of the more reasonable in the area. Grab something light at the turn and finish your round 3 or 4 under par. After such a grueling mental game it may be time for a little more relaxation by the pool. For dinner, try Copley’s; this great restaurant has true international flavor. We are always amazed by the fabulous new creations each time we go out. Make sure you indulge in the homemade ice cream sampler where there promises to be a new interesting flavor you’ve never tried before. Now that your appetite is satisfied, head off to Melvyn’s for some drinks and dancing. There is live music every night and a small dance floor perfect for a night out.

Joshua Tree National Park
|
You can’t visit Palm Springs and not see Joshua Tree National Park, so today get a jump start on the day by having an 8:30 breakfast and heading out. On your way grab a sandwich from Billy Reed’s (just two blocks up the road.) Joshua Tree is a gorgeous park spanning 794,000 acres where the Mojave and Colorado Deserts converge. It is known for fabulous views of the valley and awesome rock climbing. After some serious physical exertion you will be ready for those appetizers and martinis in the evening. After a dip in the pool and a whirlpool tub, go to Wangs for dinner. This great upscale Chinese restaurant has some amazing dishes. Walk around downtown and enjoy the Streetfair which runs every Thursday night in downtown Palm Springs. Make sure you stop and watch the spray paint guy; truly stunning art with nothing but spray paint. Come back to Rendezvous and be transported back to the 50’s by watching one of the great movies available in your room.
Since you spent yesterday in the hot desert sun, rub on a little aloe, and get ready for another memorable day. Head downtown to the Palm Springs Art Museum for some amazing art you won’t find anywhere else. After a morning of perusing magnificent art satisfy your hunger at Tyler’s Burgers, a great little joint right in downtown and a local’s favorite! Try one of their really scrumptious malts. For the rest of the day explore The Living Desert, a great wild animal park. See them in a more natural setting than behind bars at a zoo. Have a romantic dinner at Jillian’s on El Paseo and enjoy the cool desert evening window shopping on the famous strip.
Get a hearty breakfast because today we have a trail ride prepared out at Smoke Tree Stables. Various tours are offered and are a great way to explore the Palm Springs area. After a quick lunch at Fisherman’s Market Grill, a fabulous little seafood restaurant with their own boats off the coast, go over and see the Palm Springs Air Museum. This museum, built in an old hangar, is one of the best in the country, giving a close look at actual planes with fabulous docents who are happy to share their experiences and expertise. For a change of pace, after cocktails and appetizers at Rendezvous, go on a Palm Springs Carriage Ride and end your journey at Wild for the Vine, a fun wine bar with tastings nearly every night of the week. For dinner try Matchbox Pizza where they have great oven baked pizzas. The view is great as you look out onto the downtown courtyard and can people watch while enjoying their tasty creations. Before heading back to Rendezvous, meander along the Walk of Stars and see how many you recognize, or sit next to a statue of Marilyn Monroe or Sonny Bono.

Aerial View of Palm Springs |
Start your day with some tennis at the Plaza Racquet Club. We can give them a call and get you set up the night before. Come back to a nice breakfast of Stuffed French Toast, Chicken Apple Sausage, Granola Fruit Parfait, and of course a tropical fruit smoothie to wash it all down. Take an Architecture, Celebrity or Windmill Tour of Palm Springs. All are really interesting and when you get back you can impart all your newfound knowledge on the rest of us. Come back and enjoy the rest of your day lounging by the pool, and in the afternoon enjoy the cool crisp blue raspberry martinis and our yummy potato skins before you head to dinner at Le Valleuris, a great French restaurant located at the base of the mountains. Enjoy great food, service, and their fantastic location, followed by a show at one of the many theatrical venues in the area. Just ask us and we will be happy to let you know what will be playing while you are in town.
